The musician James Guyton also known as FriendsWitNobody grew up in the Army Street and Potrero Hill housing projects in San Francisco California. In pursuit of a better life he moved to Denver Colorado where he pursued music in the Christian genre. After forming a Billboard Charted rap group and record label he decided that the politics of Christian music was not his path. Finding inspiration from Artist like Wizkid Friendswitnobody fell in love with Afro Beats sound and dance twerk vibes. Enduring the death of his mother and father he began looking for his true family roots. Discovering his DNA traced back to Nigeria he soon began investing in his native land. In March 2020 in recognition of his philanthropic contributions and servitude James Guyton Friendswitnobody was crowned High Chief in Ofeme Umauhia Abia State Nigeria.

“After over coming a very dark period of my life and spending an insurmountable time doing music as a trio, the idea of being a solo artist was the last thing on my mind. After we became local super stars, I realized the only way for me to evolve as an artist was to hit the road. Traveling thousands of miles domestically and internationally, I recorded everything I felt — everything I didn‘t feel- everything that was presented to me. My time in the group proved crucial in shaping my sound. I really appreciate that period of time in my career”.

Billboard charting Friendswitnobody returns with a high energy club and party-themed song guaranteed to live up to its' title "$hake It". With a feature from Louisiana rapper and YouTube contributor, Boosie Badazz, $hake It is bound to be a Tik Tok hit!

$hake It will be the lead single featured on the new album titled, IGWE II with a notable intro from Fat Joe the Don himself. The album also include features from @iamalexus, @iameily and @realcaseyjay. States NMG CEO James Guyton, "$hake It will be the biggest record we release all year". The video was directed by Curshion Jones Studios and was shot on location in Dallas, Texas.
$hake It was produced by Kalo On The Beat for Cali 303 x BTELLC and will be released via Big Top Entertainment L.L.C.'s distribution platform.
